Didn't like anything, except unhelpful owner

The Deluxe King Room was a major letdown. On arrival, I was greeted by roaches scattering across the floor. The sink featured a bar of soap with hair trimmings. The first toilet I checked had skid marks and an awful smell. I reported the issues right away, but the owner seemed annoyed and reluctant to help. Finally, they moved me to a double bed room, which offered little relief. The running toilet never stopped, and the bed was worn, with springs jabbing into me. The pillows didn’t have covers and were stained. The next morning, I was supposed to go back to a single room, but the owner tried to put me in the corrupt first room again, claiming it was roach-free after spraying. I was placed in yet another room with a similar disgusting sink. The air conditioning didn’t cool below 80°F. The tub leaked everywhere, making the already bad smell from the carpet even worse. The mattress was cut in the center, exposing springs. It was the worst stay I’ve had during my travels. I think the health department needs to step in. It’s shocking that this place is still running.

my stay was so memorable, for all the wrong reasons. roaches greeted me, and the soap in the sink had hair trimmings, how charming! I woudl ve liked compensation for the dreadful experience but was sadly let down. despite everything, I almost considered giving this place a good review, just couldn’t muster it, though.

I stayed in a Beautiful King Room for 5 nights. To be honest, I didn't like anything about this place. Not a good experience overall.

Unfortunately, my stay was marred by unclean conditions and lack of maintenance. 😞

Not for the faint-hearted

I found the front desk staff surprisingly helpful,, they assisted me with late check-in which was a relief. The view from my room's balcony was quite fine, really made me appreciate the quiet nights.

It wasn’t exactly affordable, but it was bearable.

the hotel's central location made it super easy to stroll to the heritage center of cherokee county and enjoy a quiet afternoon at the nearby birmingham forest golf club, providing just the right escape for someone like me who loves weekend city walks.

The central location was a major plus. so easy to explore the nearby attractions and enjoy quiet afternoons. The parking was decent, which is always a relief when traveling.
